I’m Rebekah, founder of Onyx + Petal — a luxury self-care brand I launched over three years ago. One thing I deeply wish I had before starting was a mentor: someone I could hop on a call with, talk through the overwhelm, bounce ideas around, and gain clarity in the areas I felt stuck or uncertain.

Before launching my brand, I spent nearly two decades in the retail industry — including 11 years in retail management. That experience taught me how to lead with empathy, make data-informed decisions, and navigate the many moving parts of running a successful business. I also studied Family & Consumer Sciences and earned my Master’s from California State University, Northridge — a background that deeply informs my customer-first, intentional approach to brand-building.
